Changes
I'm working on adding examples for code snippets in a separate page. You can access the page by clicking on the blue box with the code in it.03/04/08
Sense of accomplishment
I've got all of the CSS tutorials online. There are still a few things that I need to tweak for the layout, and I think that including the examples on a separate page for each one would make everything clearer. Nonetheless, I'm still happy with the amount of content I now have up.01/04/08
Flexes coding muscles
Feeling reasonably proud of myself for writing the code that compares all of the pages in Kludge, and displays a link to the last modified, along with the date of modification. I've also got it to find the text in <h1> tags in each page and use that as the link text instead of the filename.31/03/08
Tutorials and nav bar
All of the HTML tutorials should now be online, with a handy navigation bar to the left of them. Just CSS and PHP to go.28-03-08
More work done
Got a few of the HTML tutorials online today, including the text ones.27-03-08
Tutorials online
Got 'other' tutorials and basic tutorials online today.I also made two little graphics to join the sitemeter image at the top of the page. The pentacle is a link to Roots, and the arrow - which appears on every page other than this one - is a back button.

Functional quotes pages
Today I created the quotes pages, and filled them with content. I'm actually quite proud of the nav bar at the bottom of the screen (if there is more than one page in a category) which stays where it is no matter how much text there is.I've also sorted out the annoying problem where Firefox and IE interpret padding differently. I had everything nicely lined up in Firefox, and when I checked in IE, the main content area was a different width to the heading and breadcrumb navigation. No more!

So I decided to actually do some work...
Of course doing university work seemed far too sensible, so I got to work on creating this site instead. Today I've created the main page and graphics, and the skeleton for web design tutorials, quotes and other random trivia.I've written most of the tutorials already, for the previous incarnation of this site, but I think I need to rewrite them anyway. The quotes can just be directly transfered as I've already got them fairly well ordered, although I might revise the categorisation.
